Homemade Creole Seasoning

Hello and Welcome back to DAMGoodcooking.com

Today we are sharing our fantastic Creole Seasoning Recipe that I picked up back in Biloxi Mississippi many years ago when stationed at Keesler Air Force Base.  I called this the party base, there was nothing to do but party here at the V (short for Vandenberg club).  If you were not at the V, you were a few hours away in Louisiana on Bourbon street (where everyday was Madi Gras).  I haven’t been since Katrina hit, I wonder how everything is there now!

So what comes with a night out of parting?  Not a DUI…. Food!  The food there was amazing!  And the most popular seasoning for the foods in Mississippi was Creole seasoning.

Scroll below to get the ingredients and instructions on how to make it.  Screw the store bought Creole Seasoning, this is how its done my friend!

FYI – I used Red Pepper in place of Cayenne Pepper (Just my preference – feel free to use what you prefer)

Also scroll through the slideshow up top to see how it was done![wpurp-searchable-recipe]Homemade Creole Seasoning – – – [/wpurp-searchable-recipe]
